The work does not stop when the lights go off.
Every business we have ever looked at has the same quiet problem. Leads come in. Somebody works the easy ones. The rest get a call or two, a status of “no answer” or “not now,” and then they sit there. Forever.
Nobody is being lazy. A sales team has finite hours, and those hours go to the prospects who answered the phone today. The contact who said “call me in the spring” eleven months ago is not on anyone’s list — not because they stopped being a buyer, but because remembering them is a job no human is good at.
That is a scheduling problem, and scheduling problems are exactly what software solves. Software does not get tired at attempt four. It does not skip the awkward follow-up. It does not go home at six.
So we named the company after the shift nobody was working.
Second Shift Solutions builds and runs the follow-up that revives leads a business already paid to acquire. We are deliberately narrow: no ad management, no website redesigns, no general marketing retainer. One job — turn a dormant database back into live conversations — measured one way, in replies from people who had stopped answering.
We are also careful with what we are handed. A contact database is an asset that took years to build and can be destroyed in a week of careless emailing. That is why compliance guardrails are built into the system rather than bolted on, why you approve every template before it sends, and why we will tell you when your list is not worth working instead of selling you a sprint that cannot pay for itself.
What we do not do
- ✕Sell you more ad spend
- ✕Lock you into annual contracts
- ✕Pretend software is a person
- ✕Message anyone who opted out
- ✕Use your data to train anything for anyone else
- ✕Take a client whose list cannot support the work

Four things we will not trade away
Recover before you spend
We will not pitch you more ad spend. The cheapest customer you will ever acquire is one you already paid for and never converted.
Consent is the product
Compliance is not a checkbox at the end of the build. Opt-out suppression and honest sender identity are load-bearing parts of the system, not settings someone remembers to switch on.
Human where it counts
AI handles patience, timing, and volume. People handle judgment, nuance, and the close. We do not blur that line, and we will tell you plainly which parts are automated.
Show the math
Every engagement reports contacts worked, replies received, and what they turned into. If the numbers do not work, we say so.
Let us show you what is still in there.
The audit is free, takes about a week, and you keep the findings whether or not you work with us.
